Privacy Policy
In short. Power Plant Tycoon has no accounts and no servers of its own. We do not collect, store or transmit any personal information about you. Your game progress stays on your device. The only data leaving your device is what Google's advertising service needs in order to show ads.
1. Who we are
Power Plant Tycoon (“the Game”) is developed and published by Danil Dorofeev, an independent developer trading as D5 INITIATIVE (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to data when you play the Game on an Android device. For anything covered by the GDPR, that is the person acting as data controller, reachable at support@d5initiative.com.
2. Information we collect
None. The Game has no registration, no login, no user profiles and no servers operated by us. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and we have no way of identifying you.
3. Information stored on your device
The Game saves your progress and settings in its own private storage area on your device:
- game progress: money, built power plants, researched technologies, city level, reputation and quest state;
- settings: chosen language, sound and music volume.
This data never leaves your device, is not readable by other apps, and is deleted when you uninstall the Game.
4. Advertising
The Game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Ads are the Game's only source of revenue and there are no in-app purchases.
To select and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
- the Android advertising ID (a resettable identifier assigned by your device);
- device and app information, such as device model, operating system version and app version;
- your IP address, from which an approximate location may be derived;
- interactions with ads, such as views and clicks.
This processing is carried out by Google as an independent party. We do not receive this data and never see individual users — only aggregated performance figures such as the total number of ad views. 5. Consent in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland
If you are in a region covered by the GDPR or comparable rules, the Game shows you a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is requested. Your choice determines whether personalised ads may be shown to you. If you do not consent, no ads are requested in that session.
Your choice is stored on your device. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Game, or clearing its data, resets it and the form is shown again.
6. Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them. Its declared target audience on Google Play is 13 years and older.
7. Your choices
- Reset or delete your advertising ID. Android settings → Privacy → Ads. You can also turn off ad personalisation there, which applies to every app on the device, including this one.
- Delete your data. Uninstalling the Game removes all locally saved progress and settings. Because nothing is stored on our side, there is nothing further to request or erase.
8. What we never do
We do not sell data, we do not share it with anyone beyond the advertising service described above, and the Game contains no analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services of any kind.
9. Security
Because we hold no data about you, there is no store of personal information for us to lose. Data saved on your device is protected by Android's own application sandbox.
10. Changes to this policy
If the Game starts collecting data differently — for example if a new service is added — this page will be updated and the effective date at the top will change. Substantive changes will also be noted in the release notes on Google Play.
